Ganguro (Black Face Girls) is an alternative fashion trend of blonde or orange hair and tanned skin among young Japanese women that peaked in popularity around the year 2000, but remains evident today.
people can "hate" on whatever they want. and this is a fashion trend, she just happens to not like it. i understand it is meant to be a rebellion against the resentment of the japanese society and a way to attempt to open self expression and freedom but that doesn't mean it isnt still just a trend. punk rock was a trend about rebellion and ideals but i doubt you would jump down this girl's throat if she were saying punk was a bad trend. she just doesnt like the style, not everything has to be so serious and isnt that the point of ganguro girls anyway? go take a chill pill and sit in your tanning bed and stop acting like this girl has no right to talk about japanese fashion just because she doesn't know the entire story behind it.
I'd hit it.
ReplyDeleteyou obviously don't understand the fashion, so don't hate on a "trend" if you don't know what it's about.
